Fetty Wap's performance of "Trap Queen" alongside Fall Out Boy at the MTV Movie Awards Sunday night indicates how far he has come in the last few months.
Fetty Wap first announces his presence halfway through the performance by rising on a pillar through a cloud of dry ice and belting his signature tag: "Remy Boys....yaaah!" Fall Out Boy backs him with their own interpretation of the Trap Queen beat, which is kind of a bummer. The heavy rock vibe is dubious at best, especially considering the catchiness of the original beat, but at least he seems to be having a great time up there.
