Danny Seth's signature tag "The British are coming" couldn't be more on-point. By now, you might know Skepta, Stormzy, or any of the other grime MCs who joined Kanye on stage during "All Day", but do you know Danny Seth? If not, watch the "I Arise Because" video ASAP.
Danny Seth isn't a grime MC, though you're probably not used to his brand of hip-hop. He's already worked with G-Eazy, A$AP Ferg, and Two-9; "Just because I'm breakin' overseas, I got motherfuckers calling me a traitor (fuck 'em)". On this solo cut, Danny gets production from two big rising producers, ATL's Ducko Mcfli and L.A.'s JGramm Beats, and we can't imagine anyone handling the beat better. Indeed, he could blow up faster in the States than at home across the pond.
In the video, Danny ghostrides a super sick BMW through the desert, passes through some sort of white-blossom'd purgatory, and wakes up back in the desert next to a Louis V duffel bag. 'Nuff said.
"I Arise Because" will appear on Danny's upcoming Perception mixtape. Big up Danny Seth.
