Nike's annual Doernbecher Freestyle Collection will be unveiled later this month and its got some sneakerheads reminiscing about DB Air Jordans of old.
The navy "Doernbecher" Air Jordan 6 serves as inspiration for this incredible "Blood Red Doernbecher" Air Jordan 6 custom, done up by Jack The Ripper.
The kicks, specially made for sneaker collector @Shoeicidal, were constructed in hand-dyed blood red suede, complete with custom heat stamped dates commemorating his wedding date and birth of his son.
The back of the tongue on the right shoe reads "BLESSED" for his sentiment towards his son. "NEVER FOR GRANTED" can be seen on the left, a line from his wedding. Red zig-zag stitching and unibody upper just like the OG pair and a metallic gold goat liner with Jack The Ripper's knife quilted logo lasered into it cap off the in-depth customs.
