Kendrick Lamar visits the Breakfast Club to speak on his new project "To Pimp A Butterfly."

This week, Kendrick Lamar's been making a press run in support of To Pimp A Butterfly (and his recently-announced Summer Jam headlining spot), paying visits to Hot 97 and MTV in the past couple of days. Today, it was The Breakfaast Club's turn, and K Dot showed up ready to discuss any of the alleged criticisms against his album that the hosts brought up.

With Charlemagne saying that he's heard many "mixed reviews" of TPAB, Kendrick responds to claims by fans that the album is too "preachy" and that "i" was not the best choice for a lead single. Always humble and open to criticism, Kendrick gives us a great understanding of the mindset that led to the album's creation in this interview.
