"Single Ladies," "Throw It In The Bag," "Umbrella" -- pretty much everything The-Dream touches is audible gold. (Though he did produce that one Kim Kardashian song that was just a terrible idea.) With his sixth studio album Crown / Jewel set to be released later this year, The-Dream recently sat down with Complex to talk about his creative relationships with Rihanna, Kanye West, Pusha T, Jay-Z and Beyonce.
"I get to compartmentalize all of these people in my mind," he said. "They're just like movies to me. I'm more like a director."
Most importantly, he told Complex that Kanye's upcoming album is "probably done", and that "there's a probability" that he hopped in the studio with Kanye to lend his production chops to the project.
