J. Cole is sometimes referred to as J. Snore (yes, we see you in the comments), and that's simply because most of his music is decidedly not-bangers. However, every now and then the North Carolina rapper comes through with a record you can blast in the whip, and on 2014 Forest Hills Drive, "G.O.M.D." was one such track. It's a highlight and fan-favorite for good reason.
For the visual, Cole takes us back in time, documenting the slave trade in the South. Cole leads his fellow slaves to revolt against their masters. This is anything but your typical video vixen-heavy music video. Watch it above.
