Outside of Drake's brilliant string of Louis Williams references on "6 Man," rappers recently seem to be more focused on shouting out the NBA greats of old than the stars of today. What with Post Malone's "White Iverson" (referencing A.I. with the song, and possibly Karl Malone with his name), Don Trip's 2012 song "Allen Iverson" and Kanye West's "middle finger longer than Dikembe" line in "All Day," it seems like the former 76ers point guard and Houston Rockets center are two of the most popular subjects.
