Back in October, Jay Rock shared "Pay For It," a track that also featured Kendrick Lamar and Chantal. Today, we get a behind the scenes look at the making of the song, courtesy of Beats by Dre. The headphones company were in the studio with the two TDE heavyweights, and got the inside scoop on the inspiration for the lyrics, as well as some info on the production from Sounwave.
"Pay For It" is one of two tracks we've heard from Jay Rock's long-delayed debut album, but we still have no clues as to its release date. Hopefully, after the label drops Kendrick's To Pimp A Butterfly, they'll focus on Jay.
