Diggy Simmons was an active figure in the blogosphere for a minute, dropping off several mixtapes and even getting tapped by XXL for their annual Freshmen cover. However, as you may have noticed, Diggy sort of fell off the map the past few years. The rapper is getting his name back into circulation with a new single "Ain't 'Bout To Do" featuring French Montana, and so he stopped by the office the other day for an interview.
Diggy details why he fell back from music for a minute, connecting with DJ Mustard, his forthcoming EP, and more. He hints at the next record he plans to drop off the EP, which he calls his favorite record off the project. He wouldn't reveal the name attached to it, but he did say, "There's a record already that features somebody who's been in the game for awhile, that's really dope, which will most likely be the next record." He added, "It's called 'Can't Relate.'"
Catch the full interview above, and stay tuned for more from Diggy this year.
