Last night, Travis Scott held a party in LA to celebrate his new ".Wav" radio show on Beats 1, to hype up Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight -- set for release on Aug. 26, and to premiere the videos to both "Pick Up the Phone" (watch here) and "90210," the latter which still hasn't been officially released. He also played some new music while DJing the party, including a remix of Desiigner's "Timmy Turner," featuring Kanye West.
Though it might not equal the success of "Panda" (which, eight months after its release, now sits at No. 12 on the Hot 100), it's fair to say that "Timmy Turner" -- now at 37 in the country and quickly climbing -- is Desiigner's second big hit. It feels like getting the GOOD Music boss to remix the Mike Dean-produced track is the perfect way to capitalize on the buzz.
Hear a healthy snippet of the new remix in a clip from last night of Travis playing it through an iPhone. It seems that while playing the "Timmy Turner" remix, Travis was able to call up Desiigner on FaceTime. After Ye's verse is through, Travis holds the mic up to the phone and gets Desiigner to sing the hook for the whole party. One can hear Kanye laughing and singing along in the background. Watch the hilarity below.
