MTV News recently caught up with Kid Ink for a behind the scenes look into his upcoming video for “Be Real”, featuring Dej Loaf.
Shot in what looks to be a castle/church in L.A., the video tackles the theme of perception, whether it be Ink sitting in front a bunch of TV’s, or watching a bad bitch take a blood bath, the temptation is dark and felt throughout this Mike Ho-directed video. Speaking on the inspiration behind the record, here’s what Ink told MTV:
“One of DJ Mustard’s writers, he gave me the beat with this hook idea on it and she was spittin' some gritty lyrics and talking about some stuff that reach more to the streets and where I come from — more than a commercial, radio-friendly type basis.”
The DJ Mustard-produced smash serves as the 3rd single off Kid Ink’s sophomore album Full Speed. Be sure you cop that bish right here!
