We've already seen the likes of 2 Chainz, Gucci Mane, iLoveMakonnen, and Migos documented in the Noisey's Atlanta series, but anyone who even casually follows hip hop from the region knows there are a couple big names that we've yet to hear from.
We've been anticipating the emergence of Rich Homie Quan and Young Thug in the series, and the latest episode takes a look at their quick ascendance and off-kilter styles. Elsewhere, we're shown the workmanlike 7-year grind of Bankroll Fresh, who is just now bubbling within the scene. Finally we get a look at Trinidad James' experience as a major label casualty, showing us that often the corporate industry isn't the right path for artists from the scene.
