With the unsuspected death of one of hip-hop's greatest MCs, many flocked to social media to share their thoughts, love and some stories about the late great. 50 Cent was one of the artists who shared an interesting story about the Mobb Deep rapper.
"The police tried to get P to set me up," writes 50 Cent. "They asked him if I keep any gun or drugs around. Then wanted him to put a gun in my car. He didn't do it, instead he told me what they were trying to do. My man P."
Mobb Deep released their seventh studio album Blood Money on 50's G-Unit label in 2006. It was their only release on the label after which the two parties went separate ways.
