With a hit premium cable series in his back pocket in Power, as well as new music like "Still Think I'm Nothing" hitting streaming services and stores earlier this fall, 50 Cent is a man who continues to have his hand in multiple sectors of the entertainment industry. With all that said, it's not like the mogul is done making money moves either, with TMZ reporting that the rapper has closed the deal on a new extension that will make him flush with cash.
Fif has reportedly inked an 8-figure deal with the Starz network, which is currently home to Power and some other rumored, although not yet released, projects that are in the works. Black Family Mafia, Tomorrow, Today and one other undisclosed title will be part of 50's new duties with the premium cable mainstay, as execs look to build on the success of Power and the rapper's gift for staying relevant in the public eye to create a mini-TV empire. The fact that Game of Thrones, the only non-basic cable show that beat 50 Cent's small screen darling in the ratings this past year, is only coming back in 2019 makes this a golden opportunity for Starz.
50 Cent has more than just his commitments at that network going on as well. His late-night endeavor, 50Central, is currently airing on the BET Network and has garnered some decent word-of-mouth buzz so far. Mr. Jackson's transformation into a Seacrest-like mogul will only continue to grow in the next two years.
