Run The Jewels hit the studio with trip-hop legends Massive Attack.

With their 2014 album, RTJ2, Run The Jewels attracted the attention of lots of year-end list-makers (including us), and it turns out that some high-profile musicians were also listening in awe. Massive Attack, a British group who were central to Bristol's trip-hop movement of the '90s, must have reached out to Killer Mike and El-P, because Mike just shared some evidence of a studio session between the two formidable groups.

First Instagramming a photo with the caption "#RTJ x @MassiveAttack. Get ready," Mike then shared the above video, which doesn't feature any new music. Instead, it shows members of both groups vibing out to a Bruce Springsteen song. Exciting things are to come, no doubt.
