The-Dream is prepping a two-part EP, Crown and Jewel, and was The Breakfast Club's latest guest this morning. The Radio Killa brought along his long-time partner Tricky Stewart to the show (although we don't get to hear from him).
The-Dream spoke about leaving Def Jam for Capitol Records, as well as the upcoming EPs. They also get into a Grammy debate, with The-Dream supporting Beyonce for album of the year. Charlamagne Tha God goes on to compare Dream to "Empire" character Lucious Lyon, and they talk the business of publishing (tying this into how "Empire" characters have to give their publishing rights to the show). The-Dream also reveals he had a courtesy call from Lil Wayne about getting with Dream's ex.
Towards the end of the interview, he reveals that following Crown's release March 31st, Jewel will be out in June.
