BJ The Chicago Kid repurposes some visuals from "Belly" for his "Strawberry Bubblegum" video.

BJ The Chicago Kid is a master of repackaging existing media for his own uses. His compilation tape from last year, The M.A.F.E. Project, featured reinterpretations (not covers) of songs by Justin Timberlake, Kanye West and James Brown, and now the first ones of those has a video.

The "Strawberry Bubblegum" visuals also speak to BJ's ability to manipulate someone else's work for his purposes, as he uses scenes from Hype Williams' film "Belly" to make up the video. This means that those bright, '90s colors soundtrack the acapella track, which becomes even trippier when scoring club scenes and gunfights.
