One of Michael Jordan's biggest fans got the surprise of a lifetime recently when MJ sent him a care package full of Jordan Brand gear, including the recently released "Tinker Alternate" Air Jordan 7s. Additionally, Jordan sent him a handwritten letter and called to say what's up.
The fan we're talking about is none other than 33-year old Jeffrey Harrison. Not ringing a bell? He's the guy who wore MJ's entire Chicago Bulls getup while playing a game of pickup hoops and instantly went viral. But there's much more to the story than that.
“I am a good player, I always have fun playing basketball," Harrison told KREM2. "I also take the game real seriously."
As it turns out, Harrison has idolized Jordan since the age of 4 and began wearing MJ's gear during pickup games back in 2010 as a way to honor the legend. He refuses to let his autism get in the way of his love for the game.
The heartwarming moment was all documented on twitter by KREM2 writer, Darnay Tripp which you can check out below. You can find the full story right here.
