OnCue is the latest subject of our On The Come Up series.

Last year was a big one for OnCue, who dropped off his Angry Young Man tape with some fire beats from Just Blaze in September. With that in the rearview, the Connecticut MC enters 2015 looking to "get his footing back," so here's his episode of On The Come Up.

In this interview, OnCue explains how he originally linked up with Just Blaze, thanking someone called "The Bald God" for originally linking them up. He goes on to explain how a Billy Joel song helped inspire the name of his last tape, and calls Death Cab For Cutie's Transatlanticism his desert island disc.

Stay tuned for more great things from OnCue this year.
