G-Eazy is currently taking his Bay Area aesthetics around the world with his "From The Bay to the Universe" tour. While the rapper was on the road, our host Josh Baker caught up with him for a little chat after his show in the DMV.
After discussing putting the tour together, Young Gerald starts talking about back in the day when he would upload his music to SoundClick, to present day with his album These Things Happen debuting at #3. "It's just a moment of validation," the rapper says. "You do something for so many years, you work so hard at something believing in it, but at the same time, the outside world might not necessarily. Not getting the return of what you put into it."
The rapper also addresses the hyphy movement (which we happened to do a feature on today), connecting with K Camp, and much more. Watch it above.
