Watch Lil Herb speak on his Grammy nod.

While out in New York City recently, Chicago spitter, Lil Herb aka G Herbo, decided to sit down with Revolt and talk about his reaction to receiving a Grammy nomination this year. The Chi-town artist earned the nod for working on the intro track, "The Neighborhood", to Common’s Nobody’s Smiling album.

Best part about it all though is that Herbo didn’t even know he was nominated. He tells Revolt TV,

“I promise I didn’t even know, I was in the studio and made some s*** that’s going to go on the [new] tape (Ballin’ Like I’m Kobe) and one of the lines I said [something] like, “I’m trying to win a Grammy…” and then my manager told me like, ‘You know you nominated for a Grammy f****** around with Common’s [album],’” Herbo recalled. “I didn’t even know it.”

Check out the brief clip above, and be sure you dont sleep on his recently-released Pistol P Project either.
