The other day we found out that Kendrick Lamar was covering the latest issue of XXL magazine, and was doing something a little unusual for an artist by writing a small piece of the cover story himself.
Dubbed “In My Own Words”, Kendrick reveals what it’s like to have the responsibility to touch thousands of people through his words and be inspired by people who currently still live in the struggle.
