In a recent sit down with Big Boy’s Neighborhood, YG addresses his feelings about being snubbed out of a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album, and he's not happy about it.
The Young Gangsta says he knew he wouldn’t have won the Grammy, but thought he should’ve been atleast nominated for it. He believes the streets and his content had something to do with the snub. "I think it has to do with me being from the streets, and representing what I represent."
“What the Grammy people gotta know, Im the people’s champ, Im the people’s people.” -YG
The frustration is clearly seen throughout the entire interview. From slamming his hand & aggressively saying, “my album was better than half of those albums on there” to comparing how he feels to Kanye West's frustration that caused him to interrupt Taylor Swift at the VMA's, YG is not happy about this at all and rightfully so.
Watch YG vent his frustrations above. You think YG deserves that nomination for a Grammy?
