This Week's Word On The Street asks New Yorkers' position on the #NotOneDime campaign.

It's been a difficult week following the grand jury's decision not to indict police officer Darren Wilson for the shooting of Mike Brown. Protests have been taking place worldwide, which have raised awareness of the situation, but have also been greeted with more police brutality.

An activist group that goes by Blackout For Human Rights has suggested another method to stand up for the victims of excessive force at the hands of police officers.

The #NotOneDime campaign proposes a boycott of the consumer holiday Black Friday, asking those who oppose the Ferguson decision and police brutality in general not to participate. For this edition of Word On The Street, we asked New Yorkers how they felt about this type of protest, and if they would be participating today.
