Eminem's "Lose Yourself" may be his most recognizable song to date. Released as promotion for his role in the semi-biographical film, "8 Mile", the song spent a number of weeks on top of the charts, and even earned the rapper an Oscar for "Best Original Song".
You would think that in light of this, Em would remember every detail of the recording process. While he may have thought so, a surfaced reference track recording of the song proved otherwise.
In a clip from his upcoming Beats-sponsored documentary, Em explains how he has no memory of this mysterious recording, but does play a few clips for us. The full version of the demo will be included on the second disc of the Shady XV album, out November 24th.
