The biopic centered around Aaliyah is set to debut on Lifetime on November 15th, which is one day away. The somewhat controversial film lost their initial lead, Zendaya Coleman, after Aaliyah's family spoke out against the movie, and so Lifetime recruited Alexandra Shipp to take on the role of Aaliyah. So far we've only seen one short trailer for the flick (which used Iggy Azalea music), but now something with a bit more substance has debuted. Lifetime tweeted a new video showing a performance by Alexandra Shipp in the role of Aaliyah. The performance is pretty lacklustre, and is being received as such across the web. We'll let you be the judge though, check out Shipp's performance above and let us know if you think this movie will fall flat.
