Grafh's recent tape 88 Crack Era is chock full of references to pre-90s hip-hop, including nods to KRS-One, Big Daddy Kane, MC Shan, Run DMC and many more. The project's 17th track, "You A Customer," is a freestyle over EPMD's almost identically-titled “You’re A Customer,” taken from their 1988 classic Strictly Business. Today, Grafh's take gets a video.
Rocking a Kangol bucket, the MC pays homage to not only the music, but the styles of hip-hop's bygone eras. His take on "You're A Customer" cuts down on the iconic Steve Miller and Kool & The Gang samples in favor of a more minimal, low end-driven product.
