Kendrick Lamar's currently on a press run for his upcoming album, dragging along a bunch of breathless reviews and speculation about the release date, and today, that run brought him to DJ Whoo Kid's radio show. Watch the new interview above.
In it, Lamar decries the rumors about a beef with Drake, letting us know he has nothing but respect for Drizzy. Later on, he reveals that he's been working closely with Parliament/Funkadelic mastermind George Clinton, who may join Ronald Isley in the list of collaborators on Lamar's new album.
Perhaps the best bit of wisdom Kendrick drops in the interview deals with the high expectations surrounding the project: "Don't expect anything," he said. With the wave of speculative "news" stories coming out about the album increasing by the day, it's hard not to side with Kendrick in that regard.
