2014 hasn't been a big year for Cory Gunz, who dropped a video for a "Hot Nigga" freestyle back in August, but has since remained dormant.
Coming in with old school hip-hop style gang vocals (a la the "Yeah you know me" part of Naughty By Nature's "O.P.P." or the entirety of M.O.P.'s "Ante Up"), the "Throw Your Gunz" video goes on to also echo that era in its gritty boom-bap. The interplay between Gunz's toned-down delivery and the shouted vocals is a nice little contrast, and the horn-laden beat ties everything up perfectly.
Hopefully, this means Gunz is back in the studio.
