Back in September, MC Lyte dropped off this Common-assisted track called “Dear John”, and now today she’s hitting us with the official video for it.
Serving as the anthem for the Educate Our Men scholarship, the uplifting new video is made up of a collage of black father and sons, with images of Malcom X, Martin Luther King, and more making an appearance as well. The powerful record serves as the first single off her upcoming album.
