As a producer, BrandUn DeShay has been churning out great material for the likes of Danny Brown, Dom Kenndey, Curren$y and SZA for close to five years now, but his solo career is only just taking off. When he shared "Chi-bUya" back in June, we knew he had something special. Now the track's gotten a video.
Befitting its homage to the Shibuya section of Tokyo, the "Chi-bUya" video contains Japanese imagery, text and cartoons, which all appear over clips of DeShay in Chicago. It's a cool way to portray the connection between the cities that's portrayed in the song, and a great look for DeShay's budding solo career.
