We caught up with rising West Coast rapper Joe Moses during a studio session recently, where he spoke on rumors about himself, his AOB movement, and more.
Right off the bat, Joe Moses details the story behind the news clip from his "Fresh Out" music video. He says he did 2 and a half years in county jail, although he was facing 26 years. The rapper goes on to explain his AOB crew and artists associated with it. He also speaks on how Akon helped out his career and watching Ty Dolla $ign's come up from nothing.
As for being taken off Ty Dolla $ign's single "Paranoid," Joe Moses shed some light on the situation: "It wasn't his fault, it wasn't nothing like that. It was just me not having my business right, so I take full responsibility for that. Did he work hard for me to stay on the song? Yes he did. I wasn't on Atlantic at the time and they have [a way] that they run things. We just been friends for a long time, probably since we was about 14 or 15 years old."
