In an age in which ad-libs, hooks and catchphrases seem to get more shine than actual lyrics, few put on for the type of motor-mouthed, brainy rap that artists like Twista and Bone-Thugs-N-Harmony popularized. Atlanta native Rittz is one of those carrying on that legacy (and he even got Twista on a recent record), and Calliko, a newcomer from Illinois who already has a Wiz Khalifa collab under his belt, is another. Today, he drops a video for his autobiographical track "The Come Up."
A short video that shows Calliko going through the motions of his everyday life, "The Come Up" video is a good look for the up-and-coming rapper.
