Except for the day that he began to see his YouTube views skyrocket this June, yesterday was probably the biggest day of 2014 for Bobby Shmurda. First, the breakout star hosted a flash mob in Midtown Manhattan, then he released his new single, "Bobby Bitch," and capped off the night with a casual performance on the Tonight Show.
Shmurda, Rowdy Rebel and the rest of the GS9 crew showed up to perform "Hot Nigga" (or, more accurately, "Hot Boy") while backed by The Roots. The mood was clearly elated among the young crew, with Shmurda breaking into the Shmoney Dance as the song closes out, and subsequently receiving a warm embrace from Jimmy Fallon.
GS9 are just getting started.
