To promote his new documentary, Time Is Illmatic, Nas made his over by Power 106 radio station on Tuesday and had a little sit down interview with Angie Martinez.
During their lengthy chat, the two icons talked about several topics, including his relationship with Jay-Z, his brother Jungle, signing Dave East & Boldy James to Mass Appeal, and much much more. Nas was even asked when his new material would arrive, which he responded with “Real soon.” When pushed for a date, Nas said, “Maybe sooner than next week…maybe tomorrow.” (Hopefully he’s not trolling us and he delivers on his word).
In celebration of the documentary, Nas will embark on a month-long tour starting today, October 2nd in Rochester, New York.
