In just about the space of two years, DJ Mustard has gone from virtual unknown to the most successful producer (commercially speaking) in the game. His slurred "Mustard on the beat, hoe" tag, which used to have people asking "What's he saying?", is now omnipresent on the radio. Life + Times and Vitmain Water have partnered to bring us a short documentary on the producer's come-up -- part of their "Where I'm From" series.
In it, we follow Mustard to L.A., where he describes the West Coast origins of his sound and tells us how starting off as a DJ helped him prosper as a beatmaker.
