Back in July, we had the distinct pleasure of premiering Ty Farris dope mixtape The Barcode, and now he's released a video for a track on there. "Where I Excel" is a Jahlil Beats-produced cut.
In the new visuals, the Detroit rapper spits amid smoke for a very minimal video. We only see two chest-up shots in the entire thing, with the focus clearly being placed on Farris' furious rapping and accompanying body language. He drops bars that are filled with internal rhymes, assonance, consonance and metaphors, cementing his place as one of the D's best straight up lyricists currently in the game.
