With their weight, value and shininess, you'd think bars of gold would show up more often in hip-hop videos, but they're usually passed over for the lighter, more convenient, more condusive-to-making-it-rain federal reserve notes. That's not the case in Ballout and Tadoe's new video for "Checks," in which gold bars are surprisingly given more screen time than the method of payment in the title (ok, it's not that surprising -- checks are probably the least sexy monetary equivalent).
The two Chiraq rappers stunt in front of a pyramid constructed from gold bars. Don't tell the Illuminati.
"Checks" is taken from Welcome 2 Ballout World.
