While Troy Ave's anti-weirdo rappers campaign continues, his music has taken a decidedly lighter turn. Most likely based on the success of jiggy revival hit, "Your Style", Troy has embraced the lighter side of his "bringing NY back" style, breaking out some fun-loving melodies, rather than mean-mugging.
The video for "Good Time" follows suit, with Ave seemingly having a lot more fun than your average New York street rapper would allow themselves to in a music video. He cruises in the whip, and the boat, recalling 90s Bad Boy more than the tough guy-isms of G-Unit.
Look out for Troy's album, Major Without A Deal in the near future.
