Motor mouthed MC Twista is currently prepping his album Dark Horse for release on August 12th, and it's shaping up to be quite the smorgasbord of sounds. So far we've heard heartfelt R&B collaborations, classic Twista bars-on-bars tracks and even a foray into drill with Chief Keef.
The latest track from the album, "Got Away," is an acoustic guitar-led ballad dedicated to "All those who have suffered from addiction, infidelity and abuse." Using the trope of "the one that got away" quite heavily, Twista paints an emotional story of a breakup. He added on YouTube:
"This video is supposed to have a lot of meaning and to help sooth one's pain after experiencing any sort of tragedy in their life. Don't let an incident take over! PEACE!"
