Common's new album, Nobody's Smiling, centers around the youth violence currently going on in Chicago, and the latest video from the album, "Diamonds" incorporates the DNA of the city into its visuals.
Common and Big Sean rap about their respective cities (Sean hailing from Detroit), as they are illuminated by various shots of their skylines.
Nobody's Smiling, which was produced entirely by fellow Chicagoan, NO I.D., hit stores earlier this week. You can stream the project here. Look out for more official visuals from the album in the near future, and check out the ambitious clip for "Kingdom" with Vince Staples.
