Raven Sorvino is on her come up grind these days, and she's about to drop off her fourth project. We recently had the California native (by way of Houston) visit the HNHH offices and sit down for a Quick5 interview on our ever handy fire escape.
We kick things off with a few facts about this lady. Raven says, "I think what's interesting about me as an artist and it really reflects in my music, is the fact that I was raised by my father, and I was raised in Houston, Texas, and from there, when I turned about 14-years old I moved to California. So with having Houston and Leimart Park as my background, I feel like you definitely hear that in my music."
She goes on to list her main influences as, "Biggie Smalls, UGK, and Aaliyah," as she discusses how each one has influenced her differently. Near the latter half of the interview, Raven talks about how she first got into rapping and the project she has coming up, Queen Of HeArtz: The Supreme.
