Check out the third episode of Terrace Martin's "Influences" series, featuring Michael Jackson's "Off The Wall."

For the past three weeks, hip-hop producer Terracce Martin has been highlighting albums that were particularly formative in his life. Episodes one and two saw him tackling two albums from hip-hop's golden age, Snoop Doggy Dogg's Doggystyle and A Tribe Called Quest's Midnight Marauders, respectively, and now he's here to laud Michael Jackson's Off The Wall with his praises.

Released in 1979, three years before the better-selling ThrillerOff The Wall is an album that Martin says "changed the face of music." Using the delightful term "gumbo of greatness" to describe the album's unique marriage of styles, Martin's love for MJ is crystal clear.
