Earl Sweatshirt returned in a big way last year. While his return from Samoa found him keeping a low-key presence for a while, he took the time to craft an album that established him as one of the more exciting rappers in the game.
It appears he's now preparing his follow-up to Doris, as he performed a new track in full in Atlanta last week.
The rapper appears to be stepping out of the understated lyricism he delivered on his last record, and into a more energetic delivery-- though that could be the effect of the live setting.
