Pharrell, who recently landed a cover of W magazine's art issue, was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel last night. In addition to being interviewed by Kimmel, the producer/songwriter performed a cut off his new album G I R L, "Come And Get It Bae."
During the above clip from the interview, Pharrell talks about getting a phone call from none other than Michael Jackson. He explains the whole story, how he had several meetings with MJ although in the end, they never did any work together. Pharrell reveals how he'd worked on eight songs for Michael Jackson with Chad Hugo, but Michael's manager was looking for a track more like "Super Thug", which was apparently not what P provided. The story ends with Pharrell receiving a phone call from MJ himself (which he didn't believe at first).
