Chicago up-and-comer Alex Wiley is the latest MC to be featured in Hip Hop DX's "Hollywood Freestyle" series, climbing up to the roof of the website's offices to spit some a cappella bars.
Wearing a bucket het, black hoodie and multicolored necklaces, Wiley delivered some wordy flows that ended up sounding pretty similar to those of fellow Chicagoan Chance The Rapper. As the pair have collaborated before on tracks like "Spaceship II," a sequel to Kanye West's original, their similar styles make sense.
Wiley is currently prepping his sophomore project, Village Party, but while you're waiting, take a listen to his recent, non-mixtape track "Golden."
