Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling's racist conversation with his girlfriend is quickly becoming the shot heard around the hip-hop world, with Snoop Dogg, Meek Mill and Game already firing back with responses. Now, Lil Wayne has entered the fray, recording a video response to Sterling. Watch it above.
Unlike Snoop Dogg, who didn't have many non-four letter words for Sterling, Weezy remains calm and collected, first offering an emphatic "Fuck you," but then giving a thoughtful response:
"If I was a Clippers fan, I wouldn't be one anymore, it's that simple. But if I was a Clippers player, a current Clippers player, you wouldn't see me on the court anymore in that uniform. An apology wouldn't do it, it wouldn't work for me. A team meeting wouldn't work for me. Locker room camaraderie -- that wouldn't work for me. I'd stand up for myself, and I'd understand that pride and respect isn't a team sport. Those are the things you're supposed to have within yourself."
