The Underachievers have two solid mixtapes under their belt, the spiritually elevating Indigoism, as well as the more aggressively trap-influenced Lords Of Flatbush. In a new interview with HotNewHipHop, the duo explained the different approaches they took to each project, as well as what we can expect from their upcoming tape, Cellar Door.
According to the duo, the project will establish a third and final sound that will establish the identity of the group. "With this project we're trying to establish a third sound," Issa said. "Lords of Flatbush was very trappy, Indigoism is very enlightening. Cellar Door will complete the whole thing."
The duo also talk about their current tour, and their goal to "enlighten" their generation.
