DJ Drama was a special guest Thursday morning on The Breakfast Club. Up until about the first half of the interview, only Charlamagne and Angela Yee were asking Drama questions about his brand, his role at Atlantic Records, and who he wants to do his next Gangsta Grillz mixtape with (Drake), and more. Drama also mentioned that he plans on releasing a new album in the latter part of the year.
However later in the interview (around 12:30 mark), Charlamagne discovered that Envy was not involved in the interview AT ALL, and when asked, Envy first denied that something was wrong, but quickly aired out his problems with Drama over the air.
It appears that the problem originates from the time when Drama was supposed to do a Gangsta Grillz mixtape with The Breakfast Club after Envy left Hot 97 but later backed out due to New York radio stations beef with Hot 97. After exchange of a few words, and a little tension, the two DJ’s settle their differences over "The Breakfast Club Court".
