Kid Cudi served as both the musical guest and interviewee on last night's episode of "Arsenio Hall", in which he addressed the state of hip hop.
"I feel that’s holding us back, as a culture as Black people. That doesn’t advance us in any way, shape or form. We’ve been doing that same thing for years now. It’s been four decades of the same bullshit."
Cudder than took the stage to deliver his very specific brand of hip hop, pulling out the track, "Internal Bleeding" from his new album, Satellite Flight: The journey to Mother Moon". At the end of the performance he addresses the intention of his music, which is to help young fans deal with loneliness.
